Xavi Simons

Team: PSV / Age: 20 / Position: Attacking midfield

After two years at PSG, predominantly playing for their Undier-19s side, Simons had only accumulated 127 minutes in Ligue 1 for the first team. The Dutchman made the move to PSV last year, for a reported £4million.

It was a brave decision from Simons, and one that should be commended. It really couldn't have worked out much better, either.

His versatility is a fantastic attribute, with Simons possessing the ability to play as an attacking midfielder, on the left or even up front. In 2022-23, he spent the majority of his minutes (27 percent) in an advanced midfield role.
