Arsenal were the big winners from Liverpool’s draw with Manchester City in the last full slate of Premier League action three weeks ago, with that stalemate at Anfield meaning the Gunners went top on goal difference.

With 10 games left, the title race is shaping up to be a thriller. And now two of the contenders meet again when City host Arsenal on Easter Sunday.

Arsenal are the form side in the division, and head into this encounter on the back of four straight wins, but overcoming Pep Guardiola’s juggernaut is no easy feat.

City are now unbeaten in 22 matches in all competitions, collecting 19 wins in that time. Last season’s treble winners may sit third as it stands, but they certainly seem to have their eyes on the prize.

That being said, City have not been helped by injury blows to John Stones and Kyle Walker, who suffered problems while away with England and are set to miss this match. Arsenal, on the other hand, are relatively unscathed and getting some of their supporting cast back to full sharpness too.

Liverpool, meanwhile, will have the chance to apply the pressure to their title rivals when they face Brighton in the day’s early kick-off, and the Reds could come out of the Easter weekend with a two-point advantage should they win and this match be drawn.

It really is all to play for.
